This Indian Blanket (traditionally called as “Dohar”), is very lightweight and thin pure cotton blanket. It is hand made by block printing process in Jaipur, Rajasthan (India). Block prints are done by eye, and telltale signs of the human hand, even imperfections, are part of the ineffable humanity and beauty of the craft. The material is pure mulmul (muslin cotton) and different from synthetic machine-printed blankets and involves handiwork of Indian Artisans. This colorful AC Blanket ideal for summers or mild winters or it can be easily used inside air-conditioned room as a throw. This blanket (dohar) is easy to care and it can be washed at home. Block printing an ancient traditional art followed in Rajasthan India, wherein the printing is done on the fabric by carefully hand pressing designs from a wooden block to the fabric. The process helps various local community called as Chippa (printers) to cultivate their traditional art and promote Indian design and old heritage of India. The traditional Indian Blanket will surely give your bedroom a traditional and beautiful decor.

This Blanket (Dohar) is a lightweight blanket ideal for summers or mild winters (10C to 25C). Enjoy comfortable soft PURE COTTON DOHAR suitable for king size bed or queen size bed which is ideal for mild winters, daytime usage, or it can be used as AC blanket. It can be also used as Sofa throw.

These pure cotton thin blankets (Jaipuri Dohar) are reversible and can be used from both sides in summers/ mild winters or air condition (AC). These cotton dohar are different from machine printed double bed blankets and use pure muslin cotton material which is very soft and generally used in handmade block printing process.

It features a trendy hand block print, that will make it a instant favourite for any modern home, moreover it is made of cotton along with 3 layers of muslin/cotton stitched together to give it smooth finish ideal to be used as summer or mid winter blanket. It gets softer with every wash.

Care Instructions Machine or hand wash in cold water with gentle cycle. Tumble dry with gentle cycle. Do not bleach. No shrinkage, No colour fading and No unravelling after washing.
