Using with fabric markers works well. Used as a 40th anniversary thank you for beach concerts, signed by musicians and attendees from throughout the years.Did not repel sand like the infomercial claimed it would and showed but still a lot more sand repellent then any towel I’ve ever owned. Very absorbent but the towel doesn’t end up drenched.Our new go to beach towel without a doubt. Dries so quick, shakes sand off so quick and is really lightweight to pack and squeeze in your suitcase. Wish they had one without the tassels but it works great!Well I can't speak for the product itself but I just received this towel today. When I opened the box, which was not damaged, the towel was wrapped in plastic. When I opened the plastic, I could feel some dampness on the towel. I immediately noticed a funky smell and that the tassels were black(see my attached pics) and there was a brownish stain on the towel. The black on the tassels was mold and I'm not sure what the stain was. Super disappointed because I was hoping to take this towel with me boating this weekend.I’ve bought several brands of Turkish towels, and this brand is my favorite. The towels are thicker than some, and very soft. They hold up well in the washer and dryer. Well worth the price.I got this $50 towel as a splurge for my birthday from my husband. I was only able to use it once or twice before the lakes here were too cold. It’s always had an interesting smell when I dry off. But I didn’t think much because I’ve never had a Turkish towel (or a $50 towel) before. I’ve used it a few times as a bath towel because it’s still too cold here. It leave small black fibers all over my body and smells weird. I ordered a $20 Turkish towel on Amazon and like it much better. No smell. No black fibers. I reached out to Sand Cloud and they told me they won’t do anything. Disappointed in the towel and company. $50 in the garbage.Loved this towel at the beach this summer. It really does repel sand and dries fast!I understand that these are primarily marketed for use at the beach. I was curious though as they also market it for home use. It is too thin and barely absorbs any water. I will be sticking to traditional cotton towels for home.
