This came just in time, came with it's own duffel bag and is one of the best weighted blankets I've seen. It's so much better that the weight is woven through the blanket and it's not just all inside a weight pad inside the blanket. No zip ups or anything. Just works. Also, the air flow is something that's amazing for those of us who are hot sleepers.Love this blanket! I got it on Prime day and have zero regrets. It has the weight and comfort without the heat. Even my cats love laying on it. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a weighted blanket who lives in a warmer climate. After much research I decided the pros of no fillers in a weighted blanket out weight the cons of the price. After researching other makers I stumbled on this manufacturer. The blanket quality matches the price tag. The 15lb weight feels heavy enough to notice the pressure but not so heavy that I feel smothered. The blanket leans toward the cool side, I think it'll be a good year round blanket but may not be as warm as a closed fabric blanket in the dead of winter. My only complaint of the product, and I say this loosely, is that the bags they come in both ripped pulling the blankets out. I am by no means a powerful man, yet the blankets are so tightly packed into the bags, that the sheer motion of them coming out ripped both seams open and one zipper popped off. It is honestly perplexing at how cheaply made and poorly designed the bags are, but seeing as how I had no intention to use them, it does not impact my satisfaction. However, if the bag is a selling point for you, you may want to consider the purchase more carefully first. It is not a well designed bag and it may not be user friendly.I've been using a pendleton weighted blanket for years and I love it, but it's WAY too hot for summer. I struggled with the idea of spending $150 (much less $250 for a bearaby) for a blanket, but I'm so glad I did. They way it's woven adds weight without trapping unwanted heat. If I decide to stick with it through winter rather than going back to the Pendleton, I can just add blankets on top or in betweenI will say when I opened the bag, it smelled funny, but the smell went away super quickly. Like 10-20 minutes. Love this blanket! Got it for my mother and MILs for mothers day and was a huge hit!
